Underwater Photography
Refetion
I had a lot of fun with this project. I took these photos on my first dive after I received my open water dive certification. In the future, I need a camera with a red filter on it because as you can see in the pictures they're all very blue and all the red color is missing due to the properties of the water. I'm excited to do more underwater photography as I continue to dive.
Personal Photography Project
Refetion
You don't already know I'm a commercial fisherman in Alaska in the Summers. During this coronavirus pandemic, I have been in Alaska doing my thing and taking pictures for this project when I can. The first picture is of our boat the osprey. This is the boat we do most of the fishing on. We mostly catch salmon on the Osprey as well as the occasional halibut image #2. When I'm on the boat I always loved taking pictures of the sunset because they happened few and far between and they're always amazing as well as happening at about midnight most of the time during the summer. The last picture is not one that I took obviously because I'm in it, but it is just such a good picture I had to put it in. I always loved taking pictures on the boat and I thought this would be a great opportunity to share them. They're not all the best quality but it's not something that people see every day and I thought it would be good to share.
Developing The Basics
Reflection
This project was meant to help Us improve our basic skills in photography. those being The rule of thirds, diagonal, Symmetry and asymmetry, and the golden section. I had a lot of fun taking these pictures and I found it challenging to find different ways to take each picture.
